SECURITY CHINA exhibition to be the largest security event in Asia

Bethesda, MD, May 17, 2004 – E.J. Krause & Associates, organizer of the highly-successful U.S. Maritime Security Expo, has added another exhibition to the international security marketplace.

SECURITY CHINA will take place on November 4-6, 2004 at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing. It is being held with the endorsement of the Ministry of Public Security, P.R. China and the Ministry of Science & Technology, P.R. China.

Show initiators include the Office of Comprehensive Administrative Committee for Social Safety of the Central Committee of Chinese Communist Party, the Science & Technology Management Committee of Ministry of Public Security, the Science & Technology Bureau of Ministry of Public Security and the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau.

SECURITY CHINA 2004 will focus on current important industry topics including Olympic security, police and forensic technology, city emergency assistance and crisis management, access control and perimeter protection and weapons of mass destruction (WMD) detection/deterrence. 35,000 attendees, 450 exhibiting companies and 24 countries will be represented.

The exhibit floor will include companies with products and services in the areas of access control, alarms, emergency assistance and crisis management, explosive and contraband detection, personal protection, police equipment, police technology for crime investigation, security hardware, TV surveillance, defensive driving, bodyguard and VIP protection, biometric technologies and more.

SECURITY CHINA will be organized in cooperation with the China Security & Protection Industry Association; the Science & Technology Information Institute, Ministry of Public Security; and co-organized by the China Jing An Import & Export Corporation. The show is supported by the Security and Protection Technology Office of Beijing Municipal Public Safety Bureau, the China Road Traffic Safety Association, the China Criminal Science & Technology Association and the China Forgery Prevention Technology Association.

Maritime Security USA is scheduled for September 14-15, 2004 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City and Maritime Security Expo Europe is scheduled for November 1-3, 2004 at the World Trade Center Rotterdam in The Netherlands.
