Ned Krause to Receive International Association of Exhibitions and Events Highest Honor, 2007 Pinnacle Award.

Bethesda, October 2, 2007 – The International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) announced yesterday its plans to honor Edward J. (Ned) Krause III, President and CEO E.J. Krause & Associates, Inc. with the association's highest honor, the 2007 Pinnacle Award, at IAEE's Annual Meeting & Exhibition, Monday, December 10, 2007, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

According to IAEE, the Pinnacle Award recognizes an individual who, over the years, has furthered IAEE's objectives of advancing exhibition and event management through the promotion of education, the dissemination of knowledge, and the introduction or development of innovative techniques, and who has been dedicated to the perpetuation of the highest ideals, trust, and professionalism in this highly specialized field.

"I truly appreciate receiving this prestigious Pinnacle Award. It is always an honor to be recognized by your peers. We are fortunate to be in a creative, challenging, and entrepreneurial industry. I have been a member of IAEE for 25 years. I would like to thank IAEE for this recognition," stated Mr. Krause.

EJK was founded in 1984 by Mr. Krause and his father. Ted Krause was an important figure in the Trade Show field, working with the U.S. Department of Commerce for over 20 years. Ned Krause took over the leadership of the company and has built EJK into an industry leader that has formed numerous global alliances and partnerships with government groups in China, Russia, and other emerging markets, as well as with other major show producers and numerous associations around the world. EJK is one of only a few trade show organizers that has a truly global sales and marketing network. EJK’s Mexican subsidiary, EJK de México, is the largest tradeshow organizer in Mexico.

Mr. Krause was the recipient of the 2005 Trade Show Week's Fastest 50 Special Honoree award. He also was the first person from the USA to be elected to The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (ufi) Board of Directors. Mr. Krause also served on the Society of Independent Show Organizers Board (SISO) for six years. He was named by Trade Show Week magazine as one of the 100 influential people in the tradeshow business.

The award will be presented at the IAEE Opening General Session and Awards Presentation at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Convention Center.
